    Ingenious Fabrizio.
I may be able to adapt that for my own game.
    Thanks.

I like this idea! I can see using this in demo games and conventions. Thanks for posting this.

    Question:
Understanding that we live in different countries, how did you get the ferrous sheet? And how thin?

I ordered it in Germany. It's 0.6mm thin, self-adhesive when the blue layer is removed. According to the delivery slip, the supplier is in the UK

    Correction.
This is probably better, I think that link took me back to Fabrisio's shop. Try this.

I use it for lining my plastic boxes for 15mm troops bases. There is a magnetic foil for this and a metal foil to stick to the bases of the troops. It holds them very well. You can also get it in strip form for the bases.

That's a useful link, thanks Rob, I was wondering how to base my new Wars of the Roses figures, now I know.

Another company I see at shows we go to is Magnetic displays CORITANI - https://magneticdisplays.co.uk/
As well as magnets of all types, including gimbal type, they also do some nice resin scenic bits I've made use of.

As this thread is now about magnets, could we make it a sticky?

    Rob.
    Question Rob:
When you used them for the troop boxes, do you need to worry about the polarity of the magnets in the box and on the minis?
I had thought about using this for my 25/28mm single figures, but was unsure about this.

No Karl, the steel sheet is neutral and the base is magnetised with the same polarity overall. I have never tried facing off two bases but now you have mentioned it...........

Just ran a check and the bases are weakly attracted to each other Karl.
