Default Oeffag Albatros D.III and maneuver deck J

    Hullo, pilots!
I recently acquired an Albatros D.III in its Brumowski variant.

Doing some reading I found out the KuK version of this specific aircraft was better than its German counterpart in speed and structural strength.

I was wondering if anyone had tweaked J deck to represent the improvements made on the plane by the manufacturer Oeffag or if you had any suggestions on how to adjust the deck to reflect this.
    Thanks in advance!

See the official unofficial aircraft list, the 153 and 253.

A convenient copy is at https://linen.miraheze.org/wiki/Albatros_D.III(Oef)

In short, the more powerful engine and greatly improved airframe strength made the Oeffag 153 more like an Albatros D.Va than its basis, the D.III.

The official unofficial stats committee put a lot of research into this.

Yes, the Austrian Albatros were better that their German counter-parts.

The un-official stats file has a B deck for the 153 models. An A deck for the 253 models.

Thanks guys for all the info and the stats- these info will make life much more difficult for my Italian pilots!

Interesting when the copy/license-built plane is better than the original. A nice what-if the Germans had started building the Oeffag version for themselves

Yeah! The more I read about the 253 versions, the more impressed I am. They were a pretty good plane.

That "A" deck for the 253 puts it ahead of the D.Va and the SE5a and up there with D.VII and the Spad XIII. With increased production that would have caused havoc. Thinks "mmm, maybe I could try that out and see the effect"
