Thread: Pups on parade

    Default Pups on parade

Tuesday night’s fight was at my house and, with Baxter on leave (swanning around the high seas on a cruise), it was myself, Mark and Windy Jack (Doug).

In honour of the latest addition to our household, I decided that Pups on the table would be the way to go. After a bit of research on the app I decided that a couple of Halberstadt D.IIIs would be suitable opponents. So Rochford and Lee flying the Pups were set up for an encounter with Von Keudell and an unknown pilot from the Luftstreikrafte.

The 2 Pups were quietly patrolling minding their own business when they spotted 2 Halbs in the distance.

Von Keudell swung to port with the intent of setting up a beam attack on the Pups, which left the Luftsreikrafte Halb to take the brunt of the initial attack from Lee.

These two blew past each other (probably exchanging grimaces and shaking fists) while Rochford turned the tables on Von Keudell and got in a shot.

    And so the dance begins!

Methinks there will be strong words to armourers when/if the pilots return to base after the patrol!

Everyone is busy trying to clear their jams before returning to the dance floor.

Don’t you just love it when the remainder of your maneuver cards create situations like this.

Jams cleared and the waltz begins again with Rochford opening the ‘batting’.

And the first of a number of collisions

Meanwhile the rest of the pilots continue to try and claw their opponents from the sky with Von Keudell being the first to show visible signs of damage.

A near-thing for the two Pups as Von Keudell takes more pummeling.

The exchange of unpleasantries continues. What started as a routine patrol for both sides has taken a decidedly nasty turn!

But Von Keudell suffers the inevitable fate given the number of hits he has taken. But Lee is not far behind!

But there can only be one winner but, unfortunately, it wasn’t a Pup!

Agree with ^^^. Pups need to be an official Ares product.

Well I finally got all the photos up after my internet connection got sorted though it is still intermittently acting up!

I spent a frustrating afternoon arguing with Telstra saying it was the NBN, the NBN saying it was Telstra - rinse and repeat. Until I finally cut through the crap and had the issue escalated - I wait in hope!!

Looks like the RFC & Luftstreitkräfte should both issue their aircrew biscuits to go with all that jam!
