I was prepping some XD decks yesterday and this was a new one on me. The turns for the Wings of War version are much longer.
I haven't checked the other "bomber" decks as yet.

Must be by the time Wings of Glory came to be, the engines were worn and a bit slower.
They look identical to me.
One starts in the middle of the card edge, the other starts nearer to one side edge.
You could happily superimpose one blue curve on top of the other blue curve.
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
The curves are identical yes, but on the Ares cards one places the back of the base on the line, on the Nexus cards it goes onto the back part of the black arrow. The plane would travel further with its strong engine on the WoW cards
They look quite different, but as I slid one over the other the arrow ends in the same position, to my eye at least.
If you put a base on a WoW arrow and drew a line on the card it looks as though it will be on the blue line not the back of the arrow.
Sapiens qui vigilat... "He is wise who watches"
……and again, as they are nearer the edge of the card makes no difference to the turn.
And if you stare at them hard enough, you get a 3D image of a Giraffe! Nurse is it time for my meds?
Oh no! That wouldn't happen to be Nurse Schultz again, would it? Captain (Or is it Squadron Leader now?) Vagabond will be upset you know!Nurse is it time for my meds?
