The Wright Flight took to the skies again in Dayton Ohio. We had a good turnout this meeting. In attendance were Sean, Tom, Marc, Rudy, Bob, Mike, Chris, Bill (Old guy), Eric, Tom (redcoon2), Jay (JAYCRF450), Scott, Matt, Ray (The G Dog), and myself.
This meetings theme was the 50th Aero Squadron. We had American DH4s versus Fokker DVII. Had quite the games. This first post I will show the game I was part of. Then I will add some pictures from the others.
Here is the 50th Looking for the lost troops.
Here are the German Fokker DVII looking to stir up some trouble.
First Recons did not find much. Some German Troops and supply truck.
Looks like the Americans also found an Airfield.
A few more German Troops.
During all of this Observation, there was a lot of shooting going on as well.
The first German Plane goes down.
One of the DH4 got its rudder hit and flew off the board.
Well, the Americans found more German Troops.
Here they are! The Americans finally find them!
Now, can they get home with the information!
Well, if the Germans keep flying like this they will!
The second German goes down!
Can the Americans make it home!
Those Airco DH4 are fast planes. They get home with the information!
Great Game! Had lots of fun with this one.
