Origins 2024 Schedule
Here is the 2024 schedule submitted for this coming Origins.
We have -

2 X T&T
3 X SOG
Additionally we'll have some unofficial games for after hours for the diehards.
We also have our traditional Haufbrau Haus Thursday night dinner.

Wednesday
Noon
-Jim - WW1 - Escadrille saves the Cauldrons
The Lafayette Escadrille is called up to protect some Cauldron G.IV bombers entering Germen Airspace. The Germans send up Albatros D.IIIs of Jasta 5 to intercept. The following fur ball will be epic.
– Chris - WW2 - Skytrains at Guadalcanal – WWII – October 1942
Poor weather has delayed the C-47/R4D Skytrains on their nightly run
to bring critical supplies to Henderson Field and evacuate the
wounded. Japanese Zeroes of the Tainan Ku have found the Skytrains as
Cactus Air Force F4F Wildcats come to their aid.

-Bill - WW1 - Balloon busting
A mix of Entente vs German ballons and defenders
– Glenn - WW2 - Fighter sweep over the Fatherland.
USAAF fighters are on a sweep over Germany, looking for targets. The Luftwaffe has come to
contest the sweep, and turn the hunter into the hunted.
Thursday

-Bill - WW1 - Recon mission: Americans vs German's 1918
U.S. a mix of DH4's and Br14's
- Peter - SoG – Harbor Raid
The Royal Navy was tired of blockading the French. In their harbor With a favorable wind the squadron commander decided to pay the French a visit.
Noon
-Karl - WW1 - Photographing the Unknown
An a cluster of enormous objects have fallen from space into no mans' land. The infantry can't get near enough to identify them, so your planes are sent to take pictures and bring them back.
And you'll have an escort, because the other side is doing the same.
(Spoiler alert – this mission is a discovery that the Martians have invaded. It is NOT a T&T game. A follow up T&T game immediately follows this game.)
– Glenn - WW2 - Wings of Glory WW2: Manchuria 1945.
August, 1945. The Red Army is rolling into Manchuria, lead by Red Airforce attacks on the
Japanese airfields. The Imperial Japanese Army Air Service takes off to defend their airspace.

-Chris - WW1 - Gasbags of Glory – summer 1918
British R.A.F. SE5a’s and German Siemens-Schuckert D.III’s defend
their precious observation balloon while attempting to destroy the
enemy’s. Burn, baby, burn!
– Peter - T&T - Visitors from the Red Planet
Earth, in the middle of WW1 at first had no idea what the fiery streaks in the sky meant. Soon it was realized that the warring countries had to put aside their differences and join together to fight for humanity’s existence!

9AM
-Karl - WW1 - The Green Fields Beyond?
The front lines have been ruptured, and now it’s an open field brawl on the Western Front again. Both sides send planes to bomb and strafe the enemy, and more to fly top cover.
You must attack enemy units, the enemy planes attacking your boys on the ground, and protect your ground attack planes.

Allied P-47 Thunderbolts have stumbled upon a German armored supply train that looks like a sitting duck, until the Focke-Wulf 190’s show up.
Noon
-Jim – WW1 - Cthulhu Rises
You are flying with a squadron of SE5As escorting some well armed American DH.4s. The last thing you expect to encounter is an ancient god. You decide to save humanity from this god and decide to get torn into him. Little did you know was the power of Cthulhu and his ability to bring about sudden madness among you and your fellow pilots.

The RAF is sending a strike against a small coastal convoy. Can the escorts get the strike aircraft
through the Axis CAP?

-Bill - WW1 - Fighter Brawl 1918 various late war fighters.
- Karl - WW2 – Swallows, Meteors and Shooting Stars, oh my!
A what-if game of WW2 jet combat. Come find out what might have happened if the Allied jets were committed to combat before the end of the war. This game will be played with altitude rules, and with
Unofficial rules for jets.
- Peter – SoG – ‘Fire as She Bares’
French and Royal Navy Squadronss meet on the high seas with their largest Ships of the Line available. It’s a battle to the death for control of the Atlantic.
Saturday
9AM
-Glenn - WW2 - Hunting U-boats.
A Hunter-killer task force has found a number of surfaced U-boats near the French coast.
Despite the risk of Luftwaffe air cover, a strike is launched. Sink the U-boats before
the fighters get you.
- Peter - T&T - Mars vs the humans, but where does Gozilla fit in?
Earth is hard pressed trying to fight off the Martian invasion. Just when it looked like it was over with the Martians on the verge of taking over, another force to be reckoned with arrives on the scene, Godzilla! Will Godzilla’s help Earth’s inhabitants to turn the tide against the growing number of Martians rampaging across the planet ,or join the Martians and rid the planet of its human infestation?
Noon
-Bill - WW1 - Nieuport 28's vs Fokker D VIII
- Jim - WW2 - Heinkels over England.
Three HE111s are being escorted by a few ME109s. Out of the clouds come a squadron of Spitfires intent on stopping them. Fly into this maelstrom.
3PM
-Chris - WW1 - Hounding the Hun in the North Sea –spring 1918
French Donnet-Denhaut DD.8 flying boats and Hanriot HD-2 floatplanes
of the Centre d’Aviation Maritime try to suppress German U-boats as
Pflaz D.III and Albatros scouts of Seefrosta Flanders defend.
- Karl - WW2 - Bomber Hunting over the Reich.
A flight of US bombers has gotten seperated from the rest. The Luftwaffe Zerstörers are closing in.
Can the escorts keep their big fellas safe?
– Peter – SoG -‘Breakout’
The French Admiral had anxiously been waiting for this moment. After a storm had blown through knocking the blockading British off station, the French make a break for the high seas.
Sunday
10AM
-Peter – WW1-Lafayette Escadrille proving Their Worth
Lafayette N17s take on Jastas 2 and 12 flying the vaunted twin machine gunned Albatros D.IIIs.
Noon
-Jim – WW1 - The Early Years
This is a chance for you to fly over the trenches in the early years of aerial combat. Fly either DH.2s or Eindecker. Both are lightly armed but neither can take a lot of damage.
