I have plans to go that route also, with Ares (and SWs and AiM) planes.
I need to get a good quality hex matt (after I decide what size hexes to use) and bases.
While WGS is fun and easy to play, CY6 feels better. And I have a friend up here who runs it at our cons, so I can get some players.
