Quite the treat. Thanks Luc
Absolutely wonderful, Luc! The artwork is amusing yet seems to capture the essence of WW1 aviation.
That's very good, like the style, I half expected to see TinTin, Snowy & Capt Haddock appear in the background
Sapiens qui vigilat... "He is wise who watches"
Also fun is on page 9 : 'The capotage du capitaine' vs 'The capotage du caporal'.
'Capotage' is nose-over. When the Captain accidently gets his aeroplane go over on its back, he's taken care of with the utmost care. But when a squaddy does the same, he's shout at.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing this.
Reminds me of the art of The Grizzled
Thanks for sharing
Superb artwork of that genre. As Dave said, could almost see Tin Tin in those sketches.Yep, they were the couple that stood out for me!'The capotage du capitaine' vs 'The capotage du caporal'.
Prolific in his output was Marcel Jeanjean by the looks of things. Interesting guy. Thanks for sharing.
