Very rare to get a truly direct flight in the US.Seattle ?! Wow, they did mess with your flight plans.
All the airlines have their preferred hubs - Alaska's happens to be Seattle.
Just a short hop from Portland.
So many times in the past I had to fly to Denver to make a connection.
Once, when I actually had to go to Denver, I had to go through Salt Lake City!
We found that out when we flew to Virginia Pete.
We flew over Virginia to Atlanta, and then had to catch a flight all the way back to Virginia.
