A fight at the end of WW2 on western front : a Messerschmitt Bf.109K and a Focke-Wulf FW.190 D (played by Goago) facing a Spitfire Mk.IX and a Thunderbolt P.47 (played by Monse).
Advanced rules for altitude and speed (speed markers : high, low, 2 neutral)
1) The FW.190 and the Spitfire fire at each other :
2-3) German planes fly side by side to increase their fire power.
The Spitfire makes a descent and a tight turns, while the P.47 performs a Split-S :
4-5-6) The Spitfire, at a lower altitude level, fires at the Bf.109 during three consecutive turns (aim bonus : additional A damage tokens) :
7) German planes perform a Split-S to avoid exiting the game area and both fire at the Spitfire which has the FW.190 in sight.
Damages are quite low for the English plane, despite the high number of damage tokens :
8) Allied planes turn back and the P.47 makes a powerful 8 points shot at the FW.190 :
9) The FW.190 makes a clever wide sideslip to avoid Spitfire fire arc.
Another fatal 6 points shot from P.47 which destroys the Bf.109 :
10) The FW.190 inflicts 8 damage points to the P.47 thanks to an effective long range shot but it is shot down by the Spitfire.
Total victory for the allied. The third reich is about to collapse ... :
A very intense game with with a frequent use of the low speed to perform tight maneuvers.
For this reason, Split-S were used rather than Immelmann (which must begin with a high speed straight).
