    Default Just taking off

Can't get hold of the DeLuxe set, looked everywhere on the interweb. No-one in the UK seems to have it in stock

    Soooooooo ended up buying
    Famous aces
    Watch your back
    Burning Drachens
Crossfire, Dogfight,Hit n Run, Immelman,Recon patrol, Top Fighters
Sopwith Camel,DH4,Pfalz DIII and a Rumpler CIV
Couldn't decide about the playmats, both good and bad comments on the forums, so I will have a think about them

I really want to use early war stuff, DH2's and Eindeckers but I don't know wether I can get Reverisco in the UK or not?
Anyway, back to browsing. Divorce has it's good points.
Nobody looking ovr your shoulder when you press checkout

    Congrats on your massive purchase!

THe Eindecker and DH2 are supposed to be out in the next series of miniatures, but if you can't wait that long, Reviresco does ship internationally. It's a bit pricey for small orders but you don't look averse to buying in bulk!

You'd be as well going for the Skytrex kits if you're in the UK. Bit of a mixed bag, but the DH2 and Eindecker kits are pretty good. You won't run the risk of getting hammered by customs either.

Wow!! That's quite a purchase, Stan. Nothing like diving in head first!! Actually, my son and I went about it in a similar fashion, buying all the sets and tons of minis in a short amount of time.

As far as the mats go, in my opinion you can't beat them for enhancing game play with minis. Really adds to the whole gaming experience. For us it's one of our best purchases and we use them every game.

Stan, Shire Games in Hanley now have the Deluxe set in at £37.99. The minatures are awesome and liveries unique to the set.

Way to go Daddio (you can tell who was around in the 50's).
Don't forget to pick up the new WWI revised deluxe set.

As Needles has pointed out Shire games say they have just got more in stock even though the web site says no. I would email Shire first to confirm. Way to go with the box sets, I keep telling she who must be obeyed that one must have priorities, unfortunately hers dont coinside with mine (sigh).
Lastly Skytrex have the early Birds, Eindekker you only have to glue the undercarriage & prop. DH2 a bit more complicated but not too much. For bases I have used Litko & Cols and just drill into fuelage of model and glue some styrene rod to fit into the pegs for WoW or the Likto toppers. Found my cable so some pics will be forthcoming over next couple of days unless this Xmas thing drags me away

Darling: * * * *I suppose Blackadder and his boys will have gone over the

Melchett: * * * Yes. God, I wish I were out there with them, dodging the
    ** * * * * * * *bullets, instead of having to sit here drinking this

    ** * * * * * * *Bernaise.

Darling: * * * *My thoughts exactly sir. Damn this Chateau Lafite.

Melchett: * * * He's a very brave man, Blackadder. And of course that

    ** * * * * * * *Slightly unusual taste, this sauce Bernaise...
