Default Happiness is two handsfull of Bristols?

Interesting article about a guy in NZ who has uncovered a load of Bristol replicas that were made for a film but never used.

I wonder whether we could all club together to buy one? (I know - no chance!)
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!

Sure. We could sell cookies/biscuits like the scouts/guides do. ... we'll have the money to buy them all in about 50 yrs. The problem would be where to store them ???????????

We just need an Aussie filmmaker (or NZ - Peter are you listening) to buy a couple and make a film about No.1 Squadron Australian Flying Corps in the Middle East in time for the 100th anniversary of the RAAF in 2021. Throw in a couple of Albatros scouts and a Rumpler, and of course a Handley Page 0/400 that was used to support the poor downtrodden Arabs (see even the progressives have a reason to get behind the project!).

Man I would go and see that a dozen times

Hopefully, we will be able to watch videos of them flying at air shows in a few years.

Well, Jackson already has at least 1 Bristol, as witnessed in his short film testing the Red and Blue cameras.
