    Default Evening all...

    Hello to one and all,

My name is Nick, and I'm the newbie in the group. I'm based in Wicklow, to the south of Dublin. My experience of Wings of Glory is extremely limited, having only discovered the game recently and so far it has involved being destroyed in short order by my 10 year old son with his Camel...
Anyhow I have an interest in military history (and George McElroy in particular at the moment), modelling, games of various descriptions and a number of other things that I shan't bore you with now.

Thanks for having me on the forum, I look forward to getting to know you.

    Cheers!

    Nick

    Hi again Nick.
I can now formally welcome you to the Drome on behalf of the rest of the pilots based here in the U.K.
I'm sure you will enjoy the game, and even occasionally notch up a victory against children and even some women.
They are another very deadly opponent.
    Fly safe.
    Rob.

Welcome to the 'Drome, Nick, from Middlesex.

Expect to spend a great deal of time under the guns of your son - children are too good at this game!

    Hello Nick,
Welcome from the Hudson River Valley. I am relatively new to this site as well and have found it to be a warm and helpful community. I have spent two summers and many shorter stays in your beautiful country and have lived by the motto "there is never a bad reason to go to Ireland"....
    best,
    Bill

Thank you all for your warm welcome, gents! The young lad and I have already taken steps to expand our meagre collection. I wish they'd knock out an SE5a model again though...
