    Great work William.

Hope we see this one once as a Ares Games model.

    Excellent job, William.
Thanks for showing us "how it's done".
    Wish I had your skills.

Amazing work! I'm surprised you persevered when the model arrived in such poor condition.

I was recently thinking of modeling a G.4 myself, having been inspired by the beautiful restored version in the NASM: https://airandspace.si.edu/collectio...ts/caudron-g-4. Note that some of the pictures on that site are 3D panoramas -- if you click on them you can get a good feel of what it would be like to be a G.4 crewman. -- it's very cool, give it a try.

Great work & great tutorial Willi!

Worth a rep in the face of adversity. Good job.

TBH I would have sent a photo of the plane to Shapeways with a stiff note (written on cardboard - an old Goon Show joke ). That way you would have got a replacement and been able to keep the original to do up.

Beautiful and inspiring work, William! You are a glutton for punishment with that rigging, but if it pleases you to do it, that's the main thing... You are a better man than I, Gunga Din!

    All the best,
    Matt

A labor of love , to be sure. Great tutorial, as well. Hope the flying turtle can avoid flying lawn mowers.

My goodness, how nice of all of you to comment and give me some slaps on the back. As you all know, because you all work hard at putting out repaints and models and AARs etc,, that is truly is a labor of love. I am pleased that you all are pleased. And, yes I have the card and base and I hope to soon engage with BB401 (my brother Bob) in a mission with N17 escort against a flock of Alb. DIIIs, so stay tuned for a future AAR!
Again, thank you all for your kind comments and REPs!
