Thread: Update on Keith

    Default Update on Keith

    Hi Folks,

I just got off the phone with Keith. He has been in the hospital the past few days. He is awaiting results from tests he had this morning. I will speak to him later this evening or tomorrow morning, and as I learn new things, I will edit this O.P. and post a message with an update.

For anyone who has put in orders at the Aerodrome Store, as soon as Keith is able, he will respond.

For anyone who has issues with the site, please PM me and I will do my best to address them.

If you would like me to pass on a message, either PM me or post it here, and I will do so.

    Thank you,
    Eric

    Update: Wednesday 21 Jun

I just got off the phone with Keith. He is home now, but pretty wiped out. It will take several days for him to reenergize and to be able to return to a normal eating routine. The doctors will continue doing some tests to verify their belief; they have a definite idea as to what is happening. Keith expressed his gratitude for all the support being sent his way.

    Hi Zoe,

As long as nothing significant happens to the site, Rob (Flying Officer Kyte) and I should be o.k. with the daily admin duties. If that changes, we will put out a call for help.

As to the Aerodrome Store, the main thing needed is patience as Keith gets back on his feet. If someone posts anything about not receiving an order or hearing from Keith, any one of us can reply letting the poster know what is happening. Outside of that, I am not sure what we can do.

    Thanks!

    Hi Folks,

I called Keith twice today, but was unable to reach him both times. I will try again tomorrow, and as soon as I learn more, I will post an update.

On one of the calls, I left a message letting him know that many here pass on their best to him.

4 eggs on bacon in the morning, meat and fish everyday, added chili and pepper, but: no salt, no bread, no sweets, no pizzas, no fast foods, no coke. Plus tea, water and some red wine (ok, more of that!).
He will be ready for a fistfight or flying within a week.
    I guarantee.
    This is my diet.

Andrzej, in Moravia region they'll tell you about another medicine: slivovitz But it is better to not try

Eric, thank you for news, hope Keith will be OK soon. Crossing fingers for it.

I know, I know, śliwowica is one of my favourite drinks. Some highlanders make it 75%.

Andrzej, I will pass on the diet recommendations.
I am in the midst of changing eating habits. The hardest part is decreasing bread and pasta - something about my last name ending in a vowel. George (CelticCat) recently introduced me to a new friend whose company I am enjoying very much - peaty Scotch.

Oh, what a nice acronym, Tim. Is it Pain In The A..? Need to remember that. Spelling [pita] or [paita]?
