I intend to be there but how long I last will, as ever, be in the lap of the Gods.
Had the quack look at my hip and it's sort of good news/bad news in that there's nothing wrong with the joint (good), it's just an extention of my chronic back pain associated with the 48 year old amputation (bad). So now it's painkillers and Ibuprofen gel.
Sorry chaps need to save all me reserve for Doncaster.
See you on the Dark Side......
First Reg, it is always good to see you for however long you can manage, and to you Neil no apology needed. We just want you to feel right again.

Lest we forget
Rob, I am helping out with another game in the morning, but if there is space, I have a WGS scenario or two to pick from for the afternoon.
Bridges over the Maas or a North Africa '41 shindig
Lest we forget
Seen them Gentlemen. Better watch out you don't get up the sharp end!

Will be attending the show with my youngest, as per usual.
However, as my club isn't putting a game on this time round, I am happy to come and help out for a spell, if required...
Sails is well staffed

The Boss will be 'patrolling' both tables to ensure order is maintained

Thanks Rob, I am looking forward to another day out enjoying my hobby.
OK folks, spanner in the works, my stupid friend is having his daughter christened on this date, not sure I am allowed to be godfather by proxy, so it looks like I might be grounded for this one now

Choose your stupid friends more carefully Chris.
All mine know better than to arrange things without notifying me first, and never to expect anything during the re-enactment season.

Very much regret I shall not be able to make this one after all Want to support Thornbury, down my way, and cannot do both - grandad duties and all that
All the best and have lots of fun. If the second show is anything like the first it will be a sorry thing to miss.
Mike
I see your point Chris.

If John is running one of his most excellent WGS games in the afternoon then I'll drop by for a game.
Will be around but getting a lift this year so not sure of timings so will just pop over and say Hi.
Tony.
Confirmed - I'll be there for the day.
I'll just bring my WGF stuff; if John does a WGS North Afrika in the afternoon, I hope he won't mind me borrowing a plane or two of his (I haven't started my North Afrika stuff yet, anyway! )
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Great to know you have our backs again Tim.
Any particular aircraft you are after?
Rob.

Just a quick reminder, I shall fighting the fuzzy wuzzies in the morning, someone may need to pop over to tell me when the table is free to set up for WW2 desert action.
Basic scenario, Stukas with 109e escorts attacking target near Tobruk, while Hurricane IIb Hurribombers and IIb fighter escorts attack targets near Tobruk. What could possibly go wrong?.......
A game for up to 8 players, can be done with 6. One plane per player is optimum.
Squadron Orders/ Staffel Befehlen will be posted at the beginning of the game.
Lest we forget
Looks like I will be able to make this one now, wasn't sure before so kept quiet. Then again how could i miss a chance of seeing John in his Fuzzy Wuzzy outfit. Also it will be great to see you guys again.

Hi Guys, the GM of the other game has just had to cancel due to family ilness so I will be with you lot all day.
The ladies had already expressed their intention of abandoning me and camping out with you anyway.
Trev, sadly no fuzzy wuzzy outfit.
Lest we forget
Have a great day tomorrow, sadly I will not be there to support, take part and be chot down countless times.
John you could still wear the fuzzy wuzzy costume, just a thought.
See you on the Dark Side......
I hope that you all have a good time later today and attract some new players.
Good luck today chaps sorry I can't be there
I know you will have a great time and do us proud
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Just back from Partizan, absolutely knackered but had a great time again.
Thanks to Tim for a cracking 1916 scenario, I joined late and handed my aircraft over to a newbie after half an hour or so, but it was a hell of a game.
Thanks also to Ruth and the girls for helping me run the afternoon game, and for coaching a couple of new players, young and old, through the mysteries of WGS and for shooting me down ( I did shoot one of my daughters down first).
I will be posting pictures later.
Lest we forget
