    No, it is not a BoB shot, it is the sky over my house! We are sitting on the terrace, playing some light family card games and out of the blue the skies are opening with their magnificent glory!

    Sunset at a place called, of all things, Sunset Beach. The object sticking out of the water is a concrete ship from WWI.
    The story of this place is that each day they raise a flag from a veterans coffin, take it down each night and return it to the family.

    Post Sunset from earlier in the year.

    This was a nice Sunset from earlier in the year.
    Lately its only been clear blue or overcast with nothing special in the way of effects!
    Oh found one I took last winter in the morning.

    Andy, what caused all those contrails? Air-force exercises?

    Great skies you have there, chaps!

    @Barry: those are airliners flying high above our house on a daily basis. They mostly take off from Wrocław and Katowice airports.

    Well.... there's some sky in it !

    RAF Friston is atop those cliffs, also scene of the series Wings, & intruder Me109's used to run up and down the valley in the foreground below hilltop height I hear. Imagine that !
