Beautifully presented AAR Willi!
However do not get me started on Bishop's "achievements" as I have researched his scores & activities in great depth via the Aerodrome Historical Forum, Books etc.
Really nice AAR. What software did you use to produce that?
Fact or fiction still a good game and AAR.
Records show German losses on that day were ONE Pfalz, and it was lost defending a Balloon (no mention of which appeared in Bishop's report..............)
Enjoyed this AAR - shame the Huns didn't get him!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
As far as history goes, you can't believe everything you read. Victory confirmations were very difficult. I am currently reading the Julius Buckler book "Malaula - the Battle Cry Of Jasta 17" and it is another example of the difficulty of confirming and even remembering what happened on what date. The book gives one a good feel of how the Jasta's operated and the way pilots thought. I know that the movie "The Blue Max" has it's flaws, but based on this book it seems, for the most part, the movie got it right.
Thank you all for your kind comments and REPs!
I have not read that German book but Bill Lambert's Combat Report also highlights the virtually impossible task of keeping track of who did what to whom in the chaos of a dogfight. That is a book I recommend to all as well.

BTW what is the map you are flying over? It looks very good.
Great job all around, Willi.
The comic book format certainly suits the subject.
Hey Willi,
very well done, deserved REP given
cheers,

Well presented AAR. Thanks, Willi.
I have only used AI a few times. It sent a plane off the map and I thought I must have been doing something wrong. But maybe not, based on what happened to the Rumpler in your scenario. Like you found, the AI can also be very accurate, such as the Pfalz turning on the SE5a.
Others seem to like it as well! It is simply aerial photos obtained from a CADD co-worker of a rural area northwest of my home. It is the Kishwaukee River, Northwest McHenry County, Illinois in the US of A
If you ever run into a tall engineer in Melbourne by the name of Michael Plant give him "Cheers" from me!
