    Default GCRCC flying circus 2017

the Greater Cincinnati radio control club is having it's yearly airshow at the Butler county regional airport this august. There will be plenty of warbirds to see and they do little reenactments of famous battles in WW2.
here is the website for it:

I went to the Flying Circus this past sunday and had a great time! there were many large model aircraft, yet because there was a storm coming, the circus was cut short and we did not get to see the space shuttle go off. Nevertheless, here are some pictures:

Looks like the next step up from our little game. I've always been fascinated by radio control planes. I never tried one but in my younger days did build a balsa and tissue P-40 with the intent of making another to fly. But then I got a real job and had to grow up. Hmmmm, a neighbor has a nice big open blueberry field nearby. I might have to ask him if he'd let me fly there.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, that this is only a fraction of the aircraft that were there. They had a full line up of jets and stunt planes, and also a few bigger bombers such as the B-17 and B-24. because of my bad internet, i could not download a few of my pictures from my phone to my computer yesterday, so here they are:

Yes they are cutouts. They were there for the pear harbour reenactment which I sadly didn't get any pictures of.
