Default 24hr Charity Gameathon at QLD Northern Knights Gaming Club Caboolture June 2-3

I just saw on Facebook the Queensland Northern Knights gaming club (https://www.facebook.com/QueenslandNorthernKnights/) is hosting a 24 hour charity gaming event at the Caboolture Combined Services Hall 21 Hayes Street Caboolture from 1900hrs 2 June 2017 to 1900hrs 3 June 2017. The cost to play is $20 per person with proceeds going to the Children’s Hospital Foundation - https://www.facebook.com/events/772558469582171/

I will be there running the table for the full 24 hours (the 'dawn patrol' on the Saturday morning will be interesting!). I invite any Brisbane / SEQ based players to drop by and get some table-top flying time at the event.

Below is a locality map indicating the venue......

    No way! That's epic!

Do you need any prizes? I could donate a few prizes possibly? Maybe a duel pack and a few scouts?

After many years it is is good to see Caboolture getting its act together. I tried for a number of years but gave it up as a bad job. It's a bloody long horrible drive to Brisbane and back just to get a game or 2 in.

That's very kind of you Evan, thanks! I was thinking about pushing WGS more so as the new WGF stuff has not yet been released.

I will PM you in the next day or so

The QLD Northern Knights just posted on Facebook the event raised $500 for the Children's Hospital Foundation here in Brisbane.

Good result considering all I had to do was run a table of Wings of Glory for a day!

    Superb effort Carl!

    Well done! <<Rep!>>

Glad to see that a tidy sum was raised.
