    Default Manchester Murders

Just seen the terrible news about the bombing and murder of innocents at Manchester Arena last night.
My heart goes out to those who have suffered loss or injury and my thanks and thoughts to the emergency responders.
May those responsible be swiftly brought to justice.

hopefully politicians and the pussified media will finally learn that giving a bully what he wants only invites more violence.
    but i doubt it...

Like in London before, I can't comment without staying calm.

...but I'm sad that the UK is hit again.

Feelings of impotent rage... in the past we have gone to war over less, but to fight a war you need a defined enemy and there just isn't one, there will be lots of hand wringing and pointing the finger at the police and organisers but you just cannot legislate or plan for some twisted, lone murderous psycho who is happy to die whilst causing as much carnage and terror as possible.

My heart goes out to all the friends and families of those killed and injured.

I had a work colleague at the concert last night but he has posted to say he is ok (thankfully), but now my daughter is at a festival on Sunday - what do you do? This is an attack on our way of life so we have to carry on or they (whoever 'they' are) win.

    Never Knowingly Undergunned !!

    Could't agree more.
Unfortunately the fanatic is almost impossible to stop!

    difficult but not impossible.
ireland eventually got rid of the IRA.

the problem is we don't get on with life etc.
we try, but our politicians and media are all too willing to capitulate to any threat of violence if it comes from a group
they don't have the balls to criticise due to the magic word 'religion'.

when a bunch of muslims kill a bunch of people for drawing an image they don't like, and
we all respond by loudly declaring the drawing of those pictures taboo and fall over ourselves to apologise
for impeding on their religious freedom by using words like murder to describe murder, we are sending a very dangerous message to
the world and every fanatic with a stick in it.

and the inevitable result is more terrorism.

Sending prayers and best wishes to the families and friends of all those affected by the Manchester bombings.

As has been stated it is difficult to stop those who are prepared to sacrifice their own lives to murder others. Law enforcement and intelligence services have to get lucky every time, those intent on such criminal acts just need to be 'lucky' once.

I too, wish all affected God's help and support at this unhappy time. I come from near Manchester and know the area well. I remember the IRA bombing of the Arndale centre - which was the last time Manchester was targeted by terrorists.

I am sure Manchester will be grateful for the kind thoughts of our friends abroad.

Very few things I liked about Maggie T but one thing she did say that might be a little more difficult to control today was to starve terrorists of the oxygen of publicity.

Endlessly going over the families and survivors grief can only fuel the next wave of atrocities IMHO

It infuriates me that people around my age are targeted by these terror groups, and how theses groups act like they will help you by getting rid of all your troubles! I hate to see younger people brainwashed by their messages! It drives me mad!

It is infuriating when the world tolerates a religion that is based on human fear, force, terror and works. Not only that but letting them into their countries by the hundreds of thousands with open borders.

They think they are immigrating for a better life but all they do is get bitter and angry when they see how different our culture is to theirs which births horrible attacks like this one.

The trouble is that you like so many believe the lie that it is a religion of peace! The truth is that the extremists are the true religion of Islam and the ones following the teachings to lie cheat and kill to further the religion. They do not value life the same way we do in the western societies. We are only blessed that the majority of Muslims are mediocre liberals in their faith and do not subscribe to the teachings of their leaders!

Some things never change - Leave it to the professionals to send the message.

Mirror Online claims confirmed by RAF that: Armourer on a Reaper UAV squadron wrote this on a Hellfire missile before taking off on a Syria mission.
I like to think it's true.

interesting symbolism to be putting such a message on a penis symbol that can only

Religions have a lot to answer for? Politics, selfishness and greed are bigger culprits!

It has been my experience that religions are only dangerous when people decide for themselves what God wants....
