They are just a bit too small for Albatros D.V, and Sopwith Dolphin. But SE5a fits, as does the Fokker D.VII (just). Nearly all WGS fighters will fit too.

They are perfect for storing card decks.

When starting a game with unofficial models, it's very convenient to give players a single box containing model, and card. Bases and pegs can be provided seperately, along with fire, smoke markers etc. Maneuver decks can be included in thebox -if you have enough - or in seperate boxes.

These individual boxes look very cool, Zoe! I tend to do my 'traveling kits' as individuals, so I think I may have to investigate this possiblity...

    All the best,

Do you line them with cotton wool or polythene offcuts to protect the planes in transit, Zoe?

very interesting find. I am still wondering if they would be a good replacement for my snap-lid boxes that i already use.

These are all WSF models, so possibly stronger than the boxes they're in... also, there's not much room for them to rattle around, especially with a maneuver deck in. As you can see, the boxes are just barely big enough for the cards.
