Real pilots would fly away from that cloud fast.
Very cool!
The electrical requirements and skills are beyond me.
Thanks for posting, Clipper!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
That could be a nice piece to have on the edge of the table where your scenario is time limited because of the oncoming front.
WANT!!! NOW!!!
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
Thanks for the clip, very good I like it!
I have some geek elves looking into it, it is cool, but a bit overkill in my estimation. There are a number of ways to trigger and supply the lightning and thunder without having to resort to a program-able controller. It would also be very cool to design an overhead suspension for the clouds that would allow us to fly below, inside, and above the storms . . . thinking a multiple Zeppelin raid . . .
I was thinking that with storm clouds if you fly into one the player could replace their model with a face down plane card and then after so many movements have taken place (depending on the size of the cloud) roll a 12 sided dice and re-appear in that o'clock position outside the cloud. That would cover disorientation but maybe there would be a potential destruction factor in there as well that would need to be worked out.
I have seen clouds with a red LED blinking light but never anything like that. Very cool.
that's really neat. Not strictly flying weather but would give Manfred something to fly through.
Sapiens qui vigilat... "He is wise who watches"
Yes I can just see Tim (Flying Helmut) looking smug as some poor Tommy heads to the cloud and then the lightning activates, double A damage perchance
