To get more Italian WGF planes...

With the upcoming Francesco Baracca Nieuport 17 miniature, I checked my old Nexus Game card game boxes & found some old plane cards.



For the upcoming Nieuport 17 there are:

Caporale Attilio Imolesi
79a Squadriglia
A damage

Sottotenente Giannino Ancilotto
80a Squadriglia
B Damage

E. Cabruna (promo card)
80a Squadriglia

For the already available Nieuport 11 there are:

So if you plan to bring on more opponents for Aviatics, Ufags & Phoenix and you like to use 100% original Nexus/Ares Games stuff - like me - it's a great option

I must admit I knew almost nothing about the air war over the Italian Front until I started playing Wings of War/Glory. I am very glad this game has expanded my knowledge of this important period in history.

I have one French Caproni, the white one & the green/yellow one.

Still LaGuardia is missing in this row.

The Caproni bombers are really cool. Since I saw one original in Dayton/Ohio I like them much more.


The reprint of WGF series III is a good reason to think about an Italian twoseater.

I think this anouncement will sell the Ufags very well, too.


If you look at the pictures above, the Pomilio PC offers a single MG version too, something we only have with the Roland twoseater at the moment.
Those single MG versions are true recon planes for me - nothing that could be used as a scout replacement.
