Received more Battle of Britain reinforcements on Monday, two Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3s and a Spitfire Mk.I. I have applied decals with the Spit becoming DW-M, which fills out my second vic for 610 Sqn. With the Messerschmitts I deviated from the allotted decals to round out a couple of units. The first 109 has joined the ranks of 1./JG1 as 'White 8' to fly as a wingman to Hptm. Balthasar, while the second now bears the markings of the Gruppenkommandeur of II./JG2, Hptm. Wolfgang Schellmann. He can now fly with his TO Oblt. Gunther Domaschk.

That looks way cool, Dave! It's a shame it's so high that it's hard to see the upper surfaces...

    Great work, as always!

    All the best,
    Matt

Great work Ken. Did you see the game by MANTIC GAMES "The Walking Dead, All Out War"? They have some pretty neat minis based on the comic and tv show.

    Bob,

It is the norm for me to paint Zombicide figs ( My first 3 seasons, a couple extra boxes for E-Bay, full Black Plague set for a customer, and someday my BP KS set). I also do LOTS of Flames of War and Bolt Action stuff, a dozen or so SAGA armies, and the like. Every now and then some 40K stuff or now I am getting KoW armies. I will paint damn near anything they throw at me as I have done it all in the past. 40K 3rd ed (still have my Squat army), was a PressGanger for privateer press for 4 years, 40 years of D and D figs 1st ed up to 3.5, Micro armor, Micro naughts, Star Fleet Battles ships, Ogre minis, and so on. Heck, I even have 2 articles on the Warlords Bolt Action website back in 2015 (SdKfz 250/11 and converted plastic sprue Germans to Finnish troops)

But will stick to historicals for the most part when posting here out of respect for HISTORICAL Wargamers (yeh, I blur the lines a lot between game systems, but some do not)

Ken, your painted armies look wonderful - great detail and so many cool figures! I have a buddy who's into Zombicide who probably should contact you...I shall mention you to him when next we chat...

    All the best,
    Matt

For those who gave me a rep bump, thanks. Matt if he is interested send me a private message and we will keep this off the boards so as not to clutter things up.

A few more HISTORICALS just for fun

I have recently finished painting up my 15mm T-35 and T-26 from Zvezda. I like to use Vallejo model color paints, and for the base color I used the Panzer series Camouflage olive green. For the weathering i used the testors FX black wash. I am also waiting for a sopwith triplane and Po-2 i ordered to come, and they will be here next month.

the detail on the kits is okay, but better than minairons 15mm tanks.
