Default Straightening a bent metal fuselage.

I bought a metal kit via eBay and the fuselage was bent in transit, as you can see in the photographs below.

Does anyone have experience of straightening something like this and can advise me on the best method to use, please? My thought was to try to squeeze in the jaws of a vice.

Be careful with the jaws of a vice as you are likely to get scoring from the grip if you tighten it too much. The application of heat (heat gun or hair dryer) should help too.

Pack it between a couple of bits of wood !

    Yes!
Warm it a bit first if you can, in a gas cooker flame, just to help stop it cracking.
