I decided a spinning prop was needed.

Okay, one more. What did I do with the first defective print. Created a wreak, of course!

ID:	224283 Now comes OVID-19 and Operation Shut In. I decided to rig my Pfalz as I did my other Shapeways kites (Be2c and Caudron). Using monofilament, I cut to fit each piece - 22 in all - and attach with small drops of gel applied with the tip of my xacto.

Nice clean job. I feel your pain on the propeller: I had to resculpt the ARES prop on the Alb. Paddles don't have blades that size...

As I look closer, I believe that is Klein's Pfalz 4 planes back in the row in the Jasta 10 photo over my desk! It has the stripe!

Always one of my favorites! I have been the prop disks more often, they are easy to make and give the mini a dynamic look IMHO

So what does one do with a defective Shapeways print that has been use for it's parts? Well, after the undercarriage was used on my Baumer DVa repaint, I figured why not create some scenery. Sorry Jasta 10, for making Vzfw Hecht's Pfalz a wreak.Click image for larger version.
