There are three Ufag planes
Ufag C.I - Fliegerkompanie 23/D
Ufag C.I - Luftfahrtruppen 1
Ufag C.I - Luftfahrtruppen 2

Which is the most popular to own and why?

I don't think any one is any better than another.
Its just which colour scheme appeals to you most.
I have the Brown/Green camo one but its card does not show Luft 1 or 2 so I guess its the first one listed so I have voted that way.
Must say the spotted one looks way cool!

My favourite is the 23/D the two tone grey one with the late straight crosses.

I sold off my Austrian and Italian models was not using them, but the spotted cam Ufag was my favorate.

Ah, I see. Thanks Dave. I own the Luftfahrtruppen 2, so this is apparently my favorite.

The UFAG is a pretty good two seater, quite fast and maneuverable. I have all three but usually break out the lozenge camouflaged version if I am only using one. With another three coming this year I'll have to find some scenarios to field an entire Flik!

The three Ufag C.I's shown above are the Nexus ones. The new ones will look something like these. These planes have the same serial numbers as the new models.
