    Cool Question on uploading pics.

Ok, I've been uploading pics for my AARs and they are sideways.

How do I straighten them out?

    Here is what I do.
    1) click on paperclip (attachment symbol)
This takes me to the file upload manager page.
    2) click on add files, select up to 5 files to upload
    3) click on select file
This brings up a pop up where I can choose one of 3 options to pull files from
    4) click on documents
    Another pop up shows up
    5) click on photo gallery or just gallery
    6) select picture
At this point the picture is in the proper position to be viewed
    7) click upload
This brings picture to upload manager page. At this point the picture has been rotated 90 degrees to the left. The picture is now in section 2 on the upload manager page.
    8) click on insert in line
This transfers pictures to my post.
    9) repeat process to add up to 5 more
    10) click done
This returns me to my post where the pictures now are listed as ATTACH123456ATTACH through ATTACH123465ATTACH.
At no time do I see where I have an option either on the upload manager page or in my post to rotate the pictures for proper viewing.
NOTE: I obviously left out a piece of the coding needed to properly attach a photo.

This situation has become more prevelent since I switched fron Verizon to Sprint and changed tablets.

Once again, can anyone help or give me an idea how to correct this?

    Thanks for any advice.

    Dale.
Hmmm... I would look at the pictures on a desktop, and rotate them before uploading. Phones and tablets are bad for not having a "this way up" arrow on their screens when you are taking pictures.

Unfortunately, I do not have a desktop or internet service for one to be able to do that. So, I use my tablet.
I may experiment with rotating them in my gallery and see what happens. We may be standing on our heads to read the AARs.
    Thanks

On my laptop, I open the photo with "Paint", rotate it as desired, then Save.

When I upload it to the 'Drome, it comes out right-side-up.

Dale I am having the same problem with using the cell phone. I have received a number of great suggestions on how to correct that. I guess I just have to start using my camera.

    Yes Tim, great advice.
I always use "Paint" to down size, crop & rotate all my pics for my AAR's.
