Thread: A lost pilot in Northeast Ohio

Default A lost pilot in Northeast Ohio

A few years ago I did some Wings of Glory gaming with some folks out of the Akron/Canton area. I had a great time.

Now that I am back into gaming (been off doing theater) I'd like to find you guys again!

Lance, in the Akron area it was probably Jager (Karl), but the OH group is pretty large and could have included CappyTom, TheCowMan and others.

Yes, Lance, we flew together a couple of times: the Ashville scramble, and one or two FloorWars (Willoughby).
Sadly, I don't have a home field to fly at; keep thinking of starting to go to the boardgame meet in Cuyahoga Falls, but haven't.
Do you have a base to fly/game at?

Ah. Here is my thread. I am a bit dizzy right now with all the theater work going on - and a day job.

Yes I run games out of my house. I have been gaming with the same guys for 35 years although we did a lot more than just WoG . But now I am limiting myself to WoG and SoG as theater takes up a lot of my time and I am getting too old to paint lots of minis.

My next offering is March 11. We will start at 10AM and end around 4 or 5. This is a re-introduction to the game so a seasoned veteran would be welcomed. Its a long drive for most - I live in Painesville - but bagels and coffee are served at 10 and I provide lunch (usually my chicken stew). All I ask of my players is to bring a snack to share and a good attitude! PM me if you need directions.

What he said, a dead heart of WOG gaming.

Good to have you back at the Drome Lance.
Hope you soon find some local chaps with which to game.

We have a fair-sized group in SW Ohio, Lance - and we game the 2nd Saturday of the month at Epic Loot in Centerville, Ohio. So if you are ever down our way...

Welcome back to the Forum! It really is a wonderful place to connect with like-minded folks and to find almost anything related to Wings of War/Glory.

    All the best,
    Matt
