Thread: Greetings from Yucatan, pilots

  1. #1

    Default Greetings from Yucatan, pilots

Been silent for a while, chaps, for I was sent on a secret mission to Yucatan, Mexico, to study the old Mayan culture, since there were rumours one of their kings, Pacal of Palenque had been in contact with ancient visitors and was taught to pilot a flying machine. HQ is sure we could make a good use of the drawings left to finally and victoriously change the tides of this prolongued war...
    Meanwhile, greetings with tequila, chaps.

Looks like nicer weather than we're used to in Ohio in February, Andy (although I was wearing shorts this weekend with temps in the low 60s...)

It's always great to live vicariously through your world travels! Was this a solo trip for you or is the family along?

    All the best,
    Matt

They can be quite painful but ok if you apply the cream...

Our 12 yo daughter is a devoted traveller! No complaining, just exploring like her father.

No, I have not tried that drink, but heard about!

We met many American and Canadian families here and had very interesting conversations by the beach.

Andy! You cannot visit Mexico without having a Mescal with the Agave worm in your Glass!
I have drunk many way back in the days I visited the Rodeo circuits & C & W festivals here in Australia.

Great stuff! Mescal is golden rather that the clear Tequila & has a mellow flavour but a great "kick"!.

    Drink Up my friend!

You need to post a map of the places you have been to. Would be intresting to see. Plan a trip to the Shire. They have some great WWI planes in NZ.
