Ace and Carreer Packs
For those of you that might not be aware of that, Boardgamegeek store has exclusive sale of Aces Pack and Carreer Pack for Wings of Glory: several skill cards and the ace cards to connect them to historical famed pilots of WW1.

The pack includes cards for many famous personalities of WW1, including the following with their ace cards and skill cards:

So there are two packs from the Kickstarter release and two from BGG?
Aren't these the same as those that were offered as add-ons in the kickstarter?

I believe there are 4 different decks in total. Two decks were included inside the boxes with the models (unlocked in the 'stretch goals') and two other different decks were offered as $5 add-ons.
BGG is selling the two decks that were offered as add-ons. The other two are only available in the kickstarter editions of the giants, as far as I can tell.
Edit: actually if I recall correctly, there were two different version of the "Deck of Ace and Skill Cards" - a set of Entente pilots in the 0/400 packs and a set of CP pilots in the Zeppelin Staaken packs.
So maybe 5 different decks?

Yes, sorry if I confused you. The first pack (Ace Cards) was made on purpose for the BGG store as soon as Ares Games put back the game on the market, and was later available through the Kickastarter as the Ace and Skill promo deck. The Carreer Pack was made during the Kickstarter, and was then made available throught the BGG store too. The two decks specific for the Kickstarter bombings have been available just with them.
We've begun playing with the ace skills cards, so I went ahead and ordered a few packs of these to provide plenty of options for plenty of players. Thanks for making them available!

Technically you would need the two from BGG and the two from the KS version of the Giants. And jsut FYI, the AA store still has some of the Aces- Career Decks in stock. I sold out of the other decks.

Look back at post #9 of this thread. brdavis posted the 4 decks that have been published. The bottom two are the ones we are talking about in this thread. The top two where inside the KS Giant minis.

Printed and sold only in the KS version of the Giants. The AA store currently has a limited supply or one of the HP 0/400 minis and one of the Zeppelin Staaken minis.
I believe that the first one was in all four versions of the Giants. The second one, I think was split into two "decks". One of them was in the HP 0/400 boxes and the other was in the Staaken boxes. I'm not 100% sure on that last part, but I seem to recall there was some differences between the Entente and CP minis.
That's my understanding also. As the image indicates, there is a set of CP pilots and a set of Entente pilots. I only got one Zeppelin Staaken, it had one deck of 'crew skill cards' and one deck of 'ace and skill cards' which were all CP pilots.
Sorry, I was informed that they were for BGG only. I'll tell around.
No worries Andrea. I tried to order more of the Ace and Skill cards months ago (after the ones I ordered during the KS ran out)and was told they were out of stock. I think the deal with BGG had already been made back then.
The very original deal with BBG was made in 2012 for the Aces Pack, far before the Kickstarter. I was then told it was an exclusive, sort of "out of commerce" (the promo deck isa sold so cheap that it's just a kind of refund). So I was still in that frame of mind, thinking that the Kickstarter packs were just for KS.
