Caproni Ca3 modification
Zoe is at it again, tempting me to go where I should not! This was too tempting even for the elves! (Knife edge flight example unless the rotation happens)
Round engines! The best kind indeed! All you need is a spare Ca3 and a Super Bowl Sunday . . .
New struts, a pair of round engines carved from 5/16" dia dowel, or steal a pair of cowls and engines from a Valom Nieuport 11 kit . . .
Additional struts were inserted from holes drilled into the top wing in the right places . . .
Rear engine and prop, nopt sure if the engine was ahead of the prop or behind, so I did it this way . . .
Need to add a crew for sure!
In formation with a stock Ca3
Subtle but cool modification - I suspect the performance with the inline engines was superior, since that is the most common in the air . . . but I think this one looks way cooler!
