WW2 Starter Set Availability

Any word on when the WW2 Starter Set will be available again? I have been waiting for Miniature Market and Cool Stuff Inc to restock. They've been out for quite some time. I know the Battle of Britain is about to launch, is this why there are no Starter Sets available? I have WW1, but we have been itching to start a WW2 game group here and all we are waiting on are starter sets. We can buy planes all day long, but we need everything else, too. I found a WW2 Rules & Accessories Pack on Amazon, but the jackass selling it wants $200!

Jeff - the next WW 2 starter set is the new Battle of Britain set.

I don't think we'll see some of the old Deluxe Sets again with 4 different planes.

As far as I know the BoB set will include a full rule book and all the stuff you need to play WW2.

For 2018 or 2019 we hopefully can expect a Pacific starter set with F4F-3 Grumman Wildcats and Mitsubishi Zeros.

Thank you. After I posted, I thought about it and figured BoB would be replacing the original Starter Set. However, there are NO starters anywhere! Wow, that's quite a testament to the popularity of this game! I'm glad I'm getting into it. So, BoB is supposed to launch in February. Correct? If so, I'd better order it now before all you veterans swipe them up.

Be not afraid, young pilot. Not every veteran (me, uhmmm...) plans to grab the starter. I am not going into it (sorry ARES!). Having an old starter plus WGS RAPs and many BoB planes I decided to invest in some squadron boxes of Me 109s and Hurries instead (how the hell many damage chits I need?). The new starter set is aimed for newcomers, IMHO, which is a good marketing decision. I only hope ARES decided to produce many thousands of them, for there is nothing for a game like a foil wrapped starter set widely available.

I have the old old starter set, so I need this new BoB edition to get the rules & accessability pack. Even though I'm more interested in the PTO. However, w/ some ETO planes....who knows.
