That mix should sell well but why not a BE2?
Not sure how you would define the arcs of fire on a Be2 as it would depend on which side the gun was mounted and swapping it over how would you account for the time needed and record that it was happening.
Pretty certain the aircraft could not carry the weight of a gun on each side.

I think the general consensus is to place 3 jam markers when moving the gun to the other side. (or to the back firing over the pilot's head!)
Sopwith Pup
LFG Roland D.VI
Pfalz D.XII
Pomilio PE or Salmson S2
Could we not treat switching the Lewis gun's pillar mount on a B.E.2 in the same way that we treat a gunner switching positions? In that way the gun could fire again after the second movement.
Shouldn't be a problem to display that on an extra airplane card (like the bombers have) and to add special rules on cards, too.
My wishes for series 10:
Sopwith Pub would be cool.
Italian twoseater
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!

Pfalz XII

I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
How long of a time is a card supposed to represent? I can't find it but isn't a played card roughly 2 seconds in time? I think the 3 card delay seems reasonable myself. Swapping a gun while bouncing about and acquiring a new target in 2 seconds seems a bit quick to me. If I am wrong on the time length of a card then I'm all in.
You're not wrong on the timings Peter, arguably clearing a jam or reloading in a cavorting machine would take longer than six seconds so 'yer pays your money and takes yer choice' in this instance. I tend to leave my gun hanging out over the back anyway as the chances of catching anything in those smaller side arcs is fairly limited.

Taubes would be good. Imagine a game or two with planes armed with rifles.
While realistic to include for complete coverage, I think the average gamer would find this incredibly boring.Originally Posted by Baxter
I'd do these two pairs for Series 10 & 11.
Sopwith Pup vs. Roland II
Sopwith Dolphin vs. Pfalz D.XII
How about:
Sopwith Pup vs. Albatros W.4
FE.2d vs. Hansa-Brandenburg C.I
Sopwith Dolphin vs. Pfalz D.XII
Pomilio PE vs. DFWC.V
Got to have Sop Pup. Got to have FE2 and BE2 (both at some point). Bloody April needs to be fleshed out.
I'd even go for these 3 Allied planes and only 1 German in a series.
I think the Sopwith Pup is definitely one of the most sorely-missed, well-known Entente aircraft not currently in the WoG line, so I would love to see it.
I'd also love to see the B.E.2c released in a special "Fokker Scourge" expansion with a reprint of the Fokker Eindecker alongside.
Dolphin and Pfalz D.XII would be great late-war additions.

We need the Sopwith pup and the FE2b just because of the number of them built. Pick any other
Central Powers air craft but, make them different.
Sopwith pup number built 1,770.
FE 2b number built 1,939.
Junkers J1 number built 227
Fokker D.I number built 144
This is a Good pick.
LIKES:
Sopwith Pup.
Vickers Gunbus.
Roland D.VI.
Pomilio PE.
Pfalz D.XII.
LVG CV.
Roland D.II.
Hansa-Brandenburg C.I.
Junkers J.I
MORE Italian aircraft (or at least with Italian insignia).
MORE Floatplanes (particularly 2-seaters).
DISLIKES:
Junkers CL.I.
Salmson S2.
Fokker D.I.
