Why does Ares not keep all planes available?

This may not be a new topic.But am new here and as a consumer, it would seem wise for Ares to keep all the models available in stock.Or at least every once in awhile restock such classics as Airco DH2 for example. If they do offer all of them and they just tend to run out then okay I can wait. But if not it seems from a marketing point of view hard to gain new players without consistent stock.

I believe it is because Ares is not a large company and they do not have sufficient funds to keep everything in stock all the time. However, I agree with you that it is frustrating for new players, particularly if they are unable to purchase Starter sets and the rules and Accessories Pack.

Part of it is the small size of Ares (still under 15 employees I believe) and the other part of it is even if they had the funds and the storage space to produce all the planes at the same time, no store would be able to stock them all. There are around 140 different planes for WGF alone.

The best place to find some of the recent out of production planes is in Hobby Town USA stores. I don't go in those very often, but I've seen DH2, Foker E.III and Caproni minis in my two local stores within the last month.
