    Lightbulb An ULL Accident in '06 (happy end)

    I found two interesting photos from an Nieuport accident in '06 in Vajnory, Slovakia. Pilot survived and he is still an acrobatic professional now, so this story had a true happy end. Anyway, lets look at two real photos:

    All this fuss about the wings and the fn tail falls off ! Shhiiiiii
    Looks like he hit something, that or a truly catastrophic failure. Thank goodness he survived.

    It is amazing that the pilot survived but I am glad that he did.

    Structural failure with a happy ending for once.
    I would like to get hold of a copy of that AAR. (Air accident report.)

    According to my information it was crash of two ULL retro WWI aircrafts. The other one landed safely, but Niuport pilot was wounded. But as I said - he is still flying acrobatic shows, so definitely happy end

    Plane can be fixed and good to hear that the pilot is ok.

    Where did you find the photos? I can't find a single news item relating to this.
