And a short description of my (still in development) WGF scenario on saturday:
Lion Hunt
Set on the Palestine Front, the scenario deals with the only operational Handley Page heavy bomber in the Middle East and it's exploits under the famous T. E. Lawrence 'of Arabia'. HP C9681, an Airco DH.4 and 3 Brisfits are to bomb a German airfield and the Telegraph Station in Deraa to support Lawrence's irregular forces. No resistance is expected, as the RAF had absolute air superiority at this stage of the Palestine Campaign. But this time, the German commanders had something else in mind: to hunt and bring down the morale boosting Giant. Waiting for the would-be raiders are 4 Pfalz D.IIIa scouts and 3 Rumpler C.IV two-seaters and some AA-nests.
As of right now there will be no respawns (due to the limited resources in this Theater of Operations) and simple Altitude Rules.
I never saw an ice cream with ears though.
Rob.

Hmm, 1947 Israelic mission with Spitfires and Avia-199 (Bf.109 with engines from He.111)... It would be a nice mission
By the way, thank you for short descriptions - I updated the list with links to posts with them
There is a major change in our plans!
We are changing the venue for Saturday. We will be in conference room in Hotel Mars!
Kubajs will post a photo later this day, but it is much bigger, there is much more light and most of you, foreigners, are staying here. So, at least I hope, it is a tripple win
Has it got beer

Good news, Daniel!
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
Here are the photos.
There will be no hire fees!
The keeper of Mars restaurant thinks that the consummation during the friday evening and the whole saturday will be enough for him.
And the food festival for saturday is still possible. But please bring just a little snacks.
The debriefings will be placed in the Mars restaurant for both days. It will make the logistics really simple.
Added three new pilots from East Bohemia!
We are on 44 now!

Very nice ideas for scenarios! Thank you, I can hardly wait!
I find venue change interesting. If beer available there, even better
Maybe this would allow Saturday's starting time at 10 AM? One more sleeping hour after Friday's debriefing is fine with me
Each hour we start later at saturday shortens our Saturday evening debriefing.
It's a vicious circle.
Do we know how long the Mars Restaurant operates on Saturday evening? Could be that we need some alternative operation room, means a nearby bar were we can get...
...a last beer.
Voilà le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Hard to say - I think midnight is the earliest point, but we can ask about it next time
Talked to Markus, Mario & Dominik - can be that they split-up saturday evening after the first few beers with the comrades at Hotel Mars.
So I don't think that we need special conditions on saturday - maybe one or two tips where they can find a good pub.
Voilà le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Request Please
I will need the following planes for my Scenario assuming I cannot get any in my luggage (Transavia are very strict 1 bag only )
Me110 s
Me 109-E
Spits
Hurricanes
a couple of mats or a green cloth.
4 of each would be nice , but the more the better.
Paul
Let me know if you can help

To all GMs of Prague Con.
Here is the table with our collections.
All the mats and minis can be ready for the Con.
You don't need to bring your stuff with you if you find that there are enough planes in our hangars.
If you need something from Cartas collection, please let us know before!
He don't live in Prague and he will travel by train, so it's not practical for him to bring everything.
In few days I will add the Sails too (now it's about 25 ships in our docks).
Thanks for that Kubajs. Makes my life easier.

I'll bring a no-man's-land, an industrial complex gaming mat with me.
How many Sail of Glory mats do you have in the Czech SoG section?
I need the originals - if we have none in Prague, I'll bringe some with me, too.
Voilà le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Hi Prag 2017 convent pilots,
let me invite you for scenario FAST JUMP.
I hope the attachment is available.
I am a new pilot form Poland: my name is Michal - "TataMichal"
Together with Rafal (Thunderbolt) we prepared big new scenario for pleeeenty of players!
Everybody willing to battle in Southern England is warmly welcome
Fast Jump will be the latest scenario in Saturday, but possible the largest: we will bring 6 official Wings of Glory mats, so will have plenty of space for every fighter.
Hopefully will be enough Allied and German fighter planes available.
The idea of scenario is simple but exciting: destroying radar, ground units, Allied fighers make the chanse for FAST JUMP - airborn invasion.
The Allied side must defend England.
I emphasized especialy the international character of the battle: pilot from various nations took part.
When you look at the attachment you can see pilots and on the large map squadrons from Czechoslovakia, Canada, Poland and of course Great Britain.
So, read the scenario please, and if interested, reserve your time and phisical strengths
Best Greetings
TataMichal
Paul, have you got enough aircraft? I can probably squeeze in a couple if necessary.
After I first posted this I have committed myself to bring a Spitfire and a Me109 for the FAST JUMP game which of course you are welcome to use if required.
Also where do I put my name down to join your Friday game?

Dear all, I am really sorry but I must give up Prague Summer Con this year. Please excuse me.
I was eagerly waiting for another meeting with you, and two days of gaming with your great scenarios. Prague Con is the most friendly and creative convention I have ever been - I mean it. Besides, Prague is a wonderful city that my family appreciate a lot.
But I am currently facing an overload of work (alas my game design and game journalist activities are on top of a regular office job) and there are some family management issues that requires me to stay here. All goes well, luckly, but for the rest of April I must stay shut and do my homeworks, instead than going out to play with friends.
So I will now start to eagerly wait for Prague Con 2018. And in the meantime, for your photos and reports that will surely cause much envy here around.
Thanks for everything and see you soon anyway.
I tried everything to merge the two. Lucky, it often works... Hence Wings of War/Glory. Alas, this time it didn't.
No problem, Andrea.
We had you there twice in a row, that was awesome.
Sometimes you can't dance on all marriages.
We'll raise our glasses for a toast in Prague.

Yes, as others say it is a sad news, but things like those happen. We will dedicate the Big Bloody April to the absent friends, won't we Sven?
I will probably won't make for Doncaster this year for some similar professional reasons, knowing the issues and dates in advance...
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
Doncaster without Andrzej? So this is a sad news.
I was in touch with Andrea and as you said: Thing like these happen. Hope next year you will come again to us!
