Gutted not to be there with you guys (I see you have beer !!) really hope I can break my Prague duck next year...
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Day #1:
- 2 missions
- 37 players
- 21 air victories
- 40 bottles of beer (aprox.)
- 1 destroyed toilets (by Sven during mission)
Good turn out for my strafing the RAF airfield which saw Sven destroy a couple of slit trenches a hanger and the Nissan huts which he deemed to be toilets
Reg (Rebel) took some stick and went down in a hail of bullets. Steve (Von Guntruck) flew his Galland 109 with jaunty presiion only getting in a cople of shots but living to fight another day.
Simon (Maverick) with his freshly bought Spit took it like a hero with his first pass costing him 12HP. But through careful moves he got to the last turn with 1 point left before Dennis got him with his 110
Only 3 planes downed so a victory for the Luftwaffe.
AAR to follow when I getback to France nd a decent computer
Todayits the Mars for gaming, hope they keep the bar open

Coming down is the hardest thing
Well, as much as I wish I was there, I had a scheduling conflict. So, at least I'm out playing Wings this weekend, if not with a bunch of veteran pilots and Wingers.
Have fun!

Excellent debriefing!
They should all emulate that!

Ahhhh, the spoils of victory! Nothing better to share with good friends.
Loads of fun, I bet!
Today my family tried a bit of a consolation making me some Pavolva cake, for a little taste of Prague...
Well done to Kuba, Andrzej, Wiktor & Simon.
See you on the Dark Side......
Congratulations to the Polish Squadron for giving us the old one two three, and also to Simon for coming up on the rails, and upholding the British end.
Well done everyone.
Here is to next year.

Passed this place in the taxi on the way from the airport (bit blurry as Lewis Hamilton was driving the taxi a bit fast). Shame it was nearer airport than it was to Hotel Mars, otherwise it would have been worth a trip out to it.
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
I know this café well - it is about 5 minutes from my flat. Unfortunately, it is still full of smoke But next year new law agains smokers will be a reality!
Ironically, the driver I had today had only been back in Prague a couple of weeks, having spent 10 years in Doncaster! Having had to make an on-the-spot contribution to the Police Benevolent Fund, he then demonstrated his excellent grasp of the English language as it pertained to the Plod.

Simon (Maverick) contemplating whether he can squeeze just another something into his suitcase after taking his prize for joint 3rd and clearing the shop of ships and 110s ( other orders to be carried by Dan Sam to Donnie

So do not forget to upload your photos somewhere - let's prolong, the Con feeling a little
I hope I'll recommend all participanta for their medals soon

Thanks a lot, Paul! I checked it immediately and believe me: I must build Cardington Airship Shed!
First of all, congratulations to the winners! Well done, chaps
As Con is getting better and bigger every year, so special thanks and congratulations go to organizers.
Dushan had his first appearance at Con and he liked it very much, so it's very possible we have recruited one more
We are all sad we had to leave day early, but we all hope next year we'll be present whole time.
And, Paul you were right
Nemanja, is Dušan Dušan or Dushan?
Just sent medal recommendations.

Game Masters:
Chalicek, Mauhur, Nachtschwärmer, TataMichal, Maverick
As a postscript to the previous brief description of my RAF airfield bombing game it must be mentioned that Sven (Marechallannes) for his successful destruction of the Nissen huts which he referred to as" toilets", was awarded the Order of the Toilet Brush with Oak Leaves and (wait for it....) Clusters.
Oh and thanks for reminding me Reg (Rebel) Dan shot you're 109 down with a Defiant
Dennis ( Nachtschwärmer) You must learn to fly a little higher as buildings are also at Level 1

Hi pilots,
it was a very good idea to start The Wings of Glory game this year, thanks to Rafal (Thunderbold) - he infected my imagination
In Prag I met people with pasion and open hearted friends. It was great pleasure to meet you pilots
I discovered - it is realy nice to prepare scenarios.
Without wasting time, next week we will test mision: "1943 Mareth Line in Tunisia"
And I collect planes and materials for aircratscarier's battle, somewhere in Pacific.
Darek dreams about Normady. Rafał also about Pacific.
Be prepared for 2018, it is very soon
