Looks fantastic, thanks to you Neil and all those that are making this possible.
I will also add my thanks to you Neil and the rest of my team who make this event run like a well tuned Merlin engine every year, just without making all the associated noise. They allow me to stand back and just admire the smooth running of the mechanism, as befits an old giffer.

Could all attendees please look at the additional games for Saturday and let me know if they would like to add their names to the empty slots.
We have:
WW1 1:1-3 slots.
WW1 2:2-4 slots.
WW1 3 (Sink von der Tann): Full.
Battle of Britain 1: 4-8 slots.
Battle of Britain 2: 1-5 slots.
Battle of Britain 3: 3-7 slots.
Convoy Attack (WW2): 8-10 slots.
Dieppe (WW2): 3 slots.
Abukir Bay (SoG): 1 slot.
Pirates (SoG): 1 slot.
Lissa (SoG): 3 slots.
If all those already playing games but have not put themsleves down for Dieppe, Convoy Attack or Lissa we could fill most of those empty slots.
I am still waiting for 4 definate attendees to comfirm any slots and another 6+, who may yet get there but cannot confirm yet due to work or life comittments, so they could potentially fill up games even more.
Spread the word, especially at shows to forum members, even if they can only get for 1 day, or half a day, it will be worth it.
Neil

But Tim has bought all the float planes available

Coming down is the hardest thing
I bally-well have not!
I don't do float planes (apart from the obligatory one-of-each for Series completion, plus one-of-each "spare" - that's only 6!!!!)
<Oh, and the dozen Italian ones that came as part of a super-cheap job lot, owing to having damaged boxes..........................>
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Painting competition expanded:

And one completely different news: May be my friend will join us too - she lives in London, but when I told her about my trip to Doncaster, she started to think about trip to Yorkshire. Her father is a pilot in east part of the Czech Republic
Good news Daniel, she will be more than welcome. I am assuming of course she plays too?

Badges have been indented for so we now just need to await delivery.
Final cost is Ł7.50 per badge, this is due to the two colours on the scroll, cost more but looks better, only this and the 2018 badge will be special after that back to basics which should bring diwn the cost again.
Thanks for that Chris.
Do you need the money up front?
Rob.
"Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death."
Maverick is the one who is making the order, the plan was to collect the cash upon delivery of the badges to the individuals concerned at Doncaster.
The extra cost is due to having the scroll in Black enamel with white enamel showing through rather than the metal as previous.
Next year 2018 the scroll will be white ( peace) with black writing after that back to blue as per the 2014 badge, if we want to continue that is.
Just to point out why the different colours
2014 Blue. Aerodrome Colour
2015 Green ( To the green fields beyond )
2016 Red (The Somme battles )
2017 Black ( Black September- including Blood April... black days for the Entente aircrews)
2018 White ( Peace)
Possibly a special for 2019 as fighting still ongoing in 1919 in Russia and Poland that allied planrs and troops took part but nothing planned as yet.
That was the idea behind the badges plus a keepsake for our get togethers
Perhaps the 2019 badges should be red and white then?
I regret that, due to some family issues, I will not now be able to attend the Doncaster weekend
On the plus side though this does mean there's a room going at the Premier Inn now
Sorry to hear that Dave.
Hope it is nothing serious.
How will we manage without our Steely Commodore for the Battle of the Nile?

You will be missed Dave, take care.
That's a shame. I was looking forward to catching the lurgy from you again
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
Sorry to hear the news Dave, will have a chat at Thornbury
I have just received a PM from Karl, and despite his recent tragedy, he has taken time out to reassure us that he still intends to visit Doncaster this September.
I know you will all join myself in sending him our best wishes at this difficult time.
Rob.

Hey lads. I temptatively booked in Beechfield House for the duration of the meetup. Just need to check my flights now, but bringing only myself and some clothes so I hope I still can participate!

Good job I ordered a Dutch flag along with the rest then Guss.
I already PM'ed Alfonso with an apology for the mistake.
Last time I read the list of attendees you were only a maybe. Then I checked the games available for seeing where we could place him and there your name was all over the place.
I am very sorry for getting it round my neck.
I can only plead stress, and my recent illness for taking my eye off the ball, which I hope your Ladies Football team does not do!
Best wishes and see you in September.
