Phoenix D.I's short dive card: how does it works? Is it just like a normal dive (looses one altitude level and all altitude markers) but just shorter?
Phoenix D.I's short dive card: how does it works? Is it just like a normal dive (looses one altitude level and all altitude markers) but just shorter?
And this is how it was meant.
Thanks for your answers.
What particular flying characteristic of the Phoenix does this maneuver aim to represent?
A very steep dive

I used it for the first time at Doncaster this past weekend; my second overdive ever! Short dive, then straight (as overdive) - fired and BOOM! Target destroyed.
The non-steep stall was also VERY useful - the Phoenix has a most interesting deck!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
