Default Signing the Auth Sheets for duty

Good evening all from Sunny Newark!

Having signed on last night, I thought I'd swing by and sign the Auth Sheets...

I've been wargaming, of many shades, for somewhere over 25 years, with Wings of War on the menu for around 8 of them.
Whilst I live in Newark, the majority of my gaming is carried out 'over the border' with my club The Old Dirigibles (the wargames club of RAFC Cranwell). We occasionally get numerous kites airborne, when the mood takes us...
Most recently we put WoW on whilst supplying DS to the Station Families Day a couple of weeks ago, and most recently last Sunday whilst supporting a fundraising day for Macmillan at Stoke Rochford Hall.

Keeping it in the family, my youngest is a capable pilot at age 11, proudly owning/operating a Spad XIII.

    Thanks for your attention!!

Fly high! (And watch out for rocks hiding in clouds....)

I'm pleased to be able to welcome you to the Drome not only as a Wingman but also another Nottinghamian Paul.
I hope that you will find us an interesting group, and full of useful tips about the game and the era in general.
Hope to see you in the Mess for a virtual pint or three and a good chinwag.
Fly safe and watch your six.
    Rob.

Belated welcome from Vancouver Island, Paul.

One of these days, I will be gaming across the table from some English pilots, and not through a wire.

Put a couple of pics in my (only) album yesterday evening, from a days gaming a couple of weeks ago.
Nothing too spectacular - but I am pleased to report that the Gotha got chopped as it approached the bombing point (by my Spad). Unfortunately, the Spad was also taken down at the same time....
