Smoke /fire damage cards number per game box ?

reading the rules of the dual pack I just bought says picking up 2 smoke cards turns into fire - yet looking through the cards - there is only one smoke and one fire damage card in the pack - so a bit confused ?- or am I being cynical and is it just marketing - ie buy more full sets for the other cards!

G'day David!
Most of us long term players will have games with multiple aircraft & some planes use the B damage deck (Mainly early war aircraft & two seaters). The B deck has all the special damage cards that the A deck has but different Damage numbers.
You will find in larger games, say 4 Aircraft you need double decks hence the Smoke becomes Fire Rule.

As long as you only have two Aircraft one deck is all you really need.

Hi -cheers- waiting to buy a full set of rules when they are reprinted Not paying the £144 sterling currently being asked for! can see using more than one deck does add interest and excitement with the element of luck re damage - once special damage cards have gone you know it will not happen again - can see why they dont want to issue cards separate to the game box - but could they issue a code so people who have bought the game can get extra components? or is that me as a novice being naive?

Unfortunately David it is not a commercial viability to offer individual cards for purchase. The RAP packs are good vale with A,B,C & D damage decks plus markers, Range rulers & the updated rule book. They are being reprinted so should become available not too far in the future.
