    Actually they were full at the time of that pic, but for not much longer afterwards. They were passable rather than exceptional. Today at Waitrose we shall be stocking up with the old faithful - Spitfire, and as the Billericay Brewing Company is opposite will be seeing if they have brewed any Billericay Zeppelin. Brewing of this seems to take a back seat when one of them comes up with a new bright idea to tickle the palate.

    We have had a similar thread running for quite a while over on the Anchorage, Barry. It now has hundreds of drinks. You cannot drink them all because some manufacturers issue a drink for a while and then withdraw it.

    I find these pictures on the internet. I have visited the website of the company, who made the Pilot's Beer in the aluminium bottles, and they do not appear to make that series any more.

    I have not sampled any of these drinks because I hardly ever drink alcohol.
