Thread: A jolly day out

    Default A jolly day out

All in all, not a bad Saturday. Started out at the RAF Museum, by treating Mrs Guntruck to a go in a Spitfire. How impressed was she? (Well, not very...)

Thought I might as well have a go myself.

Here's a shot of the Bulldog - next to the Museum's Bristol...

Then 20 minutes down the road to take Mrs G to the De Havilland Museum to look at the Mosquitoes there - my generosity knows no bounds

And to top it all, scored these three for £18 at the RAF Museum shop.

However, I have a feeling that I in turn may shortly be treated to a cake decorating show
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!

You are one thoughtful husband, Steve - I'm sure Mrs. G held her enthusiasms in check so she wouldn't embarrass you in front of the other patrons...she obviously knows you need to appear as the air enthusiast of the couple.

And cake decorating classes are lovely, as long as there are samples to consume along the line, right?!

    All the best,
    Matt

That would be a small price to pay for TWO museum visits Steve!

Love that Bulldog! ( & the Spit & the Mossie!)

Perhaps you should have allowed your wife a day shopping whilst you visited air museums. A cake decorating show may not be all bad, if they are giving out samples of cake.

So long as you can have your cake, and eat it too!

    Great pictures, Steve.
