Score at the second hand book shop!!
I made my first visit to a second book in Annerley near the Ace Comics game shop. I was delighted to find a fairly large military history section which had some really great titles.
I selected three hardcover books and took them to the counter expecting to pay $20 or 30 a book - and was advised all three were $10 each
With the Battle of Britain starter coming out soon the 'Poles in the Defence of Britain' will be first on the list.
Great find. I have been looking at the 'Poles in the Defence of Britain' but can't find it for less than $20.

Great find, Carl. I own R.Gretzyngier's book in PL: lots of facts, hard to find anywhere else.

Post on another thread that I did a good score myself. $170 worth of books for $80. Half price sales are always good. Carl good find.

I just imagine many years down the track after I kick the bucket and my kids liquidate my library, some history buff somewhere will be saying to his mate 'Dude see what I scored at the second hand book shop!!'

Great find Carl. Makes a guy want to keep getting musty.
Just goes to show always check out the 2nd hand book shops when visiting different places.
Will have to look out for the one on the Poles.
