This time I have invited my pilots to plunge into the sea of Greece! Cyclades the boardgame plus Titans expansion. What a fun we had (Uhmmm...I won).

No games for me
Playing house nurse for my wife, and filling hanger trays with planes. And taking a complete inventory (at least of WoG official planes).

Played WoG for the first time with my 4 year old boy and 6 year old girl. Stuck to WGF due to the simple machanics. Denzel was very patient and only touched the planes a few times without playing a manouvre card but when it came to shooting he didn't hold back in the machine gun sound effects
They both loved it, now they are just working on SWMBO to join us for a game (who hates little airplanes) unfortunately.
Great fun with the kids though and look forward to many more games with them as they grow.
I played "Through the Ages: A New Story of Civilization " and "Shakespeare" lost both but love playing them.
No games played but did work on finishing up a couple of planes and started some new ones.
No gaming fr me unfortunately.
Major Cold Front came through & it was only 2 C at 10.30 AM Sunday so spent the day doing housework & stoking the fire.
Watched some episodes of the BBC TV Series Wings & read a Craig Johnson "Longmire" novel.
Love the Longmire Novels & the TV series.
Best I could do was my Lady wife and myself played Zombicide Black Plague with all the bells and whistles Sat night....Then went to see Independance day 2 at the movies today.
I played "change the tyres and brake pads on my car" and "spend a lot of money for our holiday"
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
No gaming for me. Didn't even have the time to visit the drome
Haven't touched a mini for allmost a week now. I think I am going into withdrawal

Having played a couple of WoG scenarios & posted their AAR in the last week I resorted to converting a spare Bishop SE5a to a Learoyd, for no better reason than I had the card. I also dabbled with some Gears of War on the Xbox.

No games played but started assembling my new Tanks game. I have Mare Nostrum:Empires set up and ready to play next Saturday.
I played two scenarios in Utretch in a WW2 Pacific themed game.
You can see the AAR's here:

Played a first game of FFG's Forbidden Stars.

Not the kind of games that can be discussed on this forum.

New Game of Thrones version of Risk ! of course the Lannister's won
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
_Plants Vs. Zombies_ Survival Mode.
Got a run with three straight waves of Jack-In-The-Box Zombies. I hate those f***ers; one of them can blow a hole clean through the front-line, and if they're stacked up.... This is why I use Melon-Pults with Winter Melon upgrade extensively; it slows them down a bunch, so when they blow, they're too far away to do any damage.
Got the game done, shut down the computer... and that's when the ice-cream truck which plays "Pop Goes The Weasel" drove up.
My case comes up on Thursday....
OMG... what did you do THIS time, French?!
An awkward incident with the SO, and the kind of games that *can't* be discussed here after the dust settled. Still-sorta-steady GF = less miserable Bastard on the forums and IRL. LOL
Good game, nice fights (combination of dice and cards) and a lot of options for strategy.
Do you have Horus Heresy? Similar system. Playing Forbidden Stars, you have to place your orders dierectly on the game board.
Test it with Darek. You'll like it.
Cool that they released it in Polish language.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Ok.
Horus Heresy is perfect for two players.
I wonder why I Did not recommend it to you during my visit.
Check if there is a Polish version.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Played an oldie last night with my youngest: Broadside. One of the American Heritage series of games from the early 1960s. Sort of like the original SoG.
Broadside, battlecry, dogfight...remember em all and owned them at one time also...Ah..those were the simple days before I discovered Avlon Hill games.
I am SO proud of BBSuds for putting these together...he almost lost a finger tip (using a safety knife)...but I take the blame since I wasn't in the mood for gaming after hitting Bambi (a deer, for those not familiar with this term) on Thurs night...I was going 70 mph when it ran in front of me...I kinda wish I was flying at that moment. I came out in one piece, but not my car. So needless to say Bob did what was necessary to stay alive...build tanks ...ha ha ha.
Andy, we've played Cyclades and also enjoyed it!
Gees, Beth I'm glad you're alright, and hope the car's repairable

A car can be repaired.
Glad you're allright, Beth.

Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
On the drive home from Origins, couldn't count the number of Bambies on the roadside. Lots of damage done by those critters. Glad you are ok Beth.
Nicely done, Chris. First edition components (and also second edition rules)
We played two games of Mare Nostrum: Empires yesterday. There were 5 of us playing for the first time. Myself(bbsuds), Beth(trench wench), Rick(mav1624), Joe(baron1680 ), and Aaron. It is a very easy game with lots of strategy and 4 different ways to win. The first game took us 3 hours and the second took us 5 hours(3:30am finished).
Point for you, Bob and Beth! Just a single Ticket to Ride USA game tonight. Our daughter won decisively over my wife and me.
