So we have Barrage 2016 rapidly approaching (10th July in Stafford) anyone know if we have an invite for this (not a bad little show last year) and if so what are the plans to dazzle the public?
Anyone know? and has anyone got this in their diary?

My plans have been over ruled by SWMBO - it's my daughter's birthday on the Monday and we are all going out for the day on the Sunday - so unless that all falls through I'm afraid I am grounded.
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Afraid that I will be at a Regimental do at Kimbolton Castle that weekend Simon.
please chaps rally round the flag and help Simon out if you can.

I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Should be ok Simon, tell me what is needed Sails or Wings
Ok Team
it seems to be the same three
Warboar, Maverick & Boney10
with one table it had better be WW1
So lets bring along all we can and see what happens
ROB - do you need a lift to and from event my friend?
PM me with address and contact details
Thanks Chris
And Tim if you can it would be great to see you again.
Regards
Maverick
Really sorry I can't be there but alas clashes with youngest daughter's birthday and unfortunately its not the sort of family day out she has in mind
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
If the lift was aimed at me much appreciated Mav but not necessary you would literally pass stafford to collect me plus the station is a 7 minute walk from the venue so not a problem to get too at all i will be slightly late for the original setup tho as the first train gets in at 9:20ish
will PM you contact details for the day
Look forward to it
Rob
Apologies chaps, I haven't been able to swing it this time.
I'm sure you'll put on a great show.
Have fun!

Back from Barrage, a quiet show with the only "punter" being our own Baronn Rolf who turnd up on a whim and had a couple of games.
Despite the lack of players we had a good time, was nice to get in a few games without stopping to explain things to onlookers, there were some questions but by lunch time they seemed to dry up.
Anyway we did have the folowing games.
Pups v Albatross D3 RFC victorious.
Then Pups v Albatross D2 another RFC win.
Next up Strutters v Albatross D3 , yup another RFC victory
Fourth game Strutters v Albatross DVa with a Phalz D3
Last Hanover v SE5a
All RFC wins today
Ill post pics asap.
Thanks to Maverick for organising, Andrew, Mavs step son, Baron Rolf for turning up for a couple of games and Warboar for assisting and playing.
Cheers chaps see you at the next one.
Good stuff Chris, thanks for stepping up to the plate once more - so another quiet show? seems to be the norm for this year, Vapnartak and Hammerhead notwithstanding

I still love playing the game and talking to like minded Chris, even though Sails has taken a big slice of my time of late
Gutted to have missed catching up with Mark (Baron Rolf) as well, huge thanks to Simon and Chris for keeping the flag flying... so what's the next show? I am suffering withdrawal symptoms...

All wins for the RFC
