It's been a while since my first escapade to Origins in 2013. All because of you, the finest gang of angels-forumers ever found. The Lend Lease program was a chance for me to visit and inspect the US Wing

Every time I go over the pics from Origins 2013 I took they bring back cheerful memoires.

So it must have been a great conspiracy between Cappy Tom and my

, for when Tom called me one night in April (right before my 50

) asking me to come again, Edyta said the magic words: your B-Day is coming, so you may go!
So here I go again on my own, eager to meet the old friends again.

Afraid not, Andy - she's taking our younger son to Phoenix, Arizona, for ballet camp with the Phoenix Ballet. I will be heading to Columbus with my wingman rhodie80 (Jim).

She probably wouldn't enjoy the convention too much if she were to come - she likes that I enjoy little planes and games, but she has no interest in playing...it's all good...

It was sad for me when I was invited that I had to forgo the experience due to the problem with my leg which precludes me undertaking long flights.

So glad to hear you are returning to ORIGINS again...had a blast with you last visit but sorrowfully will be unable to make it this year. Late breaking decision but due to a relapse of my Necrotizing Myopathy neither my strength nor my stamina will allow me a window of opportunity to get you in my sights this time. I know all the other BGIF's are looking forward to you and everyone else that comes to the tables...good flying my friend...both to and from home and also on the gaming tables.

Thomas: we were all very sorry to learn you wouldn't be at Origins this year. We're hoping to see you at Dawn Patrol in the Fall.

im sorry to hear about your health issues and i missed you at origins. i hope you have a speedy and uneventful recovery.
