Dalmatia, 23 August 1918: Offizierstellvertreter Julius Arigi (31 victories) took off from the base of Fliegerkompanie 1J (Flik 1J) at Igalo with his commanding officer Oberleutnant Bela Macourek (3 victories) to patrol the Adriatic coast. They were flying the latest Aviatik D.I scouts sent to Arigi as a personal gift from the Austrian Emperor himself. About 0800hrs the pair intercepted an Airco DH.4 of No. 6 (Adriatic) Group RAF flying from its base at Taranto Italy and likely performing an anti-submarine patrol.
This WGF historical scenario set on the Italian Front requires two Series 6 Aviatik D.I scouts and one Series 2 Airco DH.4.
